For a hyperscale data centre, fire protection extends beyond life safety. Every engineering decision must protect critical infrastructure while preserving continuous operation and minimising the risk of unplanned downtime.

The fire protection strategy considered high equipment densities, system resilience and business continuity, integrating pre-action suppression, advanced detection, sprinkler and hydrant systems into a coordinated solution. Particular emphasis was placed on reducing inadvertent water discharge while maintaining uncompromising protection for mission-critical assets.

The completed design delivers a resilient and scalable platform capable of supporting both current operational demands and future expansion.
